About Me

I’m a writer living on Vancouver Island in beautiful British Columbia, Canada.

I started my career as a poet, earning an MFA from Columbia University and teaching at City University of New York and Simon Fraser University in British Columbia. I’m currently at work revising my first novel for publication.

When I’m not at my desk, I love hiking and exploring the Pacific Northwest, reading a book, playing with my family, petting my dog, or fussing over my little free library, The Itsy Bitsy Bookworm.
